Install

One installer. No server to stand up, no Azure resources to provision, no PowerShell modules to chase.

Connect your tenant

Sign in with your Microsoft 365 admin account. SysClaw uses delegated permissions scoped to your own role — it never holds more access than you do, and no global admin service account is left behind.

Run the first collection

Inventory, policies, and audit records land in a local database on your machine. First scan on a mid-size tenant typically completes in minutes.

Read the findings

Posture score against M365 and CISA SCuBA baselines, the OAuth apps nobody remembers approving, dormant admins, stale guests, and legacy auth still in use.

Day 31

The trial ends and SysClaw becomes Community Edition, which retains reporting and insights, every management action, auditing with unlimited retention and event alerting. Nothing you collected is deleted: paid capabilities switch off and all collected data remains local until you license Pro or Defend.

Before you install

  • · An Entra ID account with permission to read directory, policy and audit data.
  • · Certain audit and Conditional Access checks require Microsoft 365 E3/E5 or Entra ID P1/P2 in the target tenant.
  • · Roughly 2 GB of free disk for a mid-size tenant's collected history.
  • · Review the exact network access SysClaw needs before allow-listing it.
